As a Laminate Edging Material Printing Technician, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that our edge banding materials meet the highest standards of quality and consistency. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Core Responsibilities:
Printing Preparation: Preparing printing plates, cylinders, and other necessary materials for the printing process. This includes meticulous cleaning, inspection for defects, and ensuring proper alignment for optimal print quality. Experience with different printing techniques, such as screen printing, offset printing, and digital printing, is highly desirable.
Printing Operation: Operating and maintaining high-speed printing machinery, ensuring smooth and efficient operation. You will be responsible for monitoring the printing process, making necessary adjustments to maintain consistent color accuracy, image sharpness, and overall print quality. Troubleshooting minor equipment malfunctions and performing routine maintenance will also be part of your duties.
Quality Control: Conducting thorough quality checks throughout the printing process, identifying and addressing any defects or inconsistencies promptly. This includes visually inspecting printed materials for color accuracy, sharpness, registration, and any other potential flaws. You will be expected to maintain detailed records of production and quality control findings.
Color Matching: Accurately matching colors according to customer specifications and industry standards. Experience with color matching software and equipment is essential. You will need to be adept at adjusting ink mixtures and settings to achieve precise color reproduction.
Material Handling: Properly handling and storing printing materials, ensuring their safety and preservation. This includes managing inventory, keeping the workspace organized and clean, and adhering to all safety regulations.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Performing routine maintenance on printing equipment, identifying and troubleshooting minor mechanical or electrical issues. You will work closely with maintenance personnel to address more complex problems.
Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of production output, material usage, and any quality control issues encountered. Regular reporting to the supervisor on production status and any potential problems is required.
Continuous Improvement: Actively participating in initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the printing process. This includes suggesting improvements to workflows, equipment, and techniques.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a printing technician, preferably in the furniture or related industry. Experience with laminate edge banding printing is a strong plus.
Proven ability to operate and maintain high-speed printing machinery.
Strong understanding of color theory and color matching techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (Mandarin Chinese is a must, English proficiency is a plus).
