As a Color Matching Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the consistent and accurate color matching of our edge banding products. Key Responsibilities:
Precise Color Matching: Accurately match edge banding colors to customer samples and specifications, utilizing various color matching instruments and techniques.
Formula Development & Adjustment: Develop and refine color formulas for new and existing edge banding products, ensuring consistency across production runs.
Quality Control: Conduct rigorous quality control checks throughout the entire color matching process, identifying and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
Material Management: Manage and maintain an organized inventory of color pigments, dyes, and other materials used in the color matching process.
Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate and maintain various color matching instruments and equipment, ensuring their proper calibration and functionality.
Process Optimization: Identify and suggest improvements to the color matching process, aiming for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all color formulas, production batches, and quality control results.
Collaboration & Communication: Effectively communicate with production staff, quality control personnel, and management to ensure seamless workflow and timely resolution of issues.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve color matching discrepancies and production challenges, employing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Staying Updated: Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in color matching and edge banding production.

Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience of at least 3 years as a Color Matching Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the furniture or related industry.
Extensive knowledge of color theory, color matching techniques, and color measurement instruments (spectrophotometers, colorimeters).
Proficiency in using various color matching software and databases.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with quality control procedures and documentation.
Strong work ethic, commitment to quality, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is essential; English language skills are a plus.
