As a material matching technician, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless integration of edge banding materials with various substrate materials used in furniture manufacturing. This requires a keen eye for detail, a thorough understanding of different wood types, finishes, and edge banding materials, and the ability to accurately match colors and textures. Your expertise will play a vital role in maintaining the consistent high quality our customers expect.

Key Responsibilities:
Accurately identify and match edge banding materials to customer specifications and samples, paying close attention to color, grain, and texture.
Assess the quality of incoming edge banding materials, ensuring they meet our stringent quality standards.
Maintain detailed records of materials received, matched, and used, ensuring traceability and accountability.
Work closely with production teams to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
Collaborate with the purchasing department to identify and source new edge banding materials that meet evolving market demands.
Troubleshoot and resolve material matching discrepancies, identifying and correcting any inconsistencies.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the material matching department.
Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new materials and technologies.
Assist in the development and implementation of new material matching procedures.

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the furniture manufacturing or related industry.
Proven ability to accurately match colors and textures of different materials.
Strong understanding of various wood types, finishes, and edge banding materials (PVC, ABS, Melamine, etc.).
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Proficiency in using measuring instruments and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Good communication skills in Mandarin Chinese.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures.
