About the Role:

As an edge banding machine operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of edge banding machines, ensuring consistent and high-quality results. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Operating different types of edge banding machines, including automatic and semi-automatic models.
Setting up and adjusting machines according to specifications, including feed speed, pressure, and temperature.
Loading and unloading materials efficiently and safely.
Inspecting finished edges for imperfections such as glue lines, gaps, or uneven surfaces.
Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshooting machine malfunctions and performing minor repairs as needed.
Adhering to strict quality control standards and company safety regulations.
Maintaining accurate records of production output and material usage.
Working collaboratively with other team members to achieve production targets.
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a proven track record of success in a similar role. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
Minimum of 3 years of experience operating various types of edge banding machines in a furniture manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in understanding and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Strong understanding of woodworking principles and techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Ability to work efficiently and meet production targets within tight deadlines.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions independently or with minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
Familiarity with different types of edge banding materials (PVC, ABS, Melamine, etc.).
