As an extrusion technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion lines used in the production of various edge banding materials. This includes PVC, ABS, melamine, and other related materials. Your role is critical to ensuring the consistent quality and efficiency of our production process. We are seeking candidates who are not only technically proficient but also possess a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
Operating and monitoring extrusion machines, ensuring optimal performance and product quality.
Adjusting machine parameters to meet specified product requirements, including thickness, color, and texture.
Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of extrusion equipment.
Identifying and resolving production issues promptly and efficiently.
Maintaining accurate records of production data, including output, scrap rates, and machine downtime.
Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and procedures at all times.
Working collaboratively with other team members to achieve production targets.
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
Assisting in the setup and changeover of extrusion lines for different product runs.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an extrusion technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the furniture or plastics industry.
Proven ability to operate and maintain extrusion equipment, including troubleshooting and performing basic repairs.
Strong understanding of extrusion processes and principles.
Experience working with various materials, including PVC, ABS, and melamine.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using measuring tools and instruments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in plastics processing is a plus.
