As a Pellet Mill Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring the consistent and efficient production of high-quality wood pellets used in the creation of our edgebanding strips. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Operating and maintaining the pellet mill machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
Monitoring the production process, identifying and addressing any potential issues or malfunctions promptly.
Maintaining accurate records of production output, material usage, and equipment performance.
Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of the pellet mill and associated equipment.
Ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and procedures.
Working collaboratively with other team members to achieve production targets.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
Assisting with raw material handling and storage.
Troubleshooting minor mechanical issues and reporting significant problems to maintenance personnel.
Participating in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new technologies.

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in manufacturing or related field is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating pellet mill machinery in a manufacturing setting. Experience with wood pellet production is highly preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations.
