As an Edge Banding Material Preparation Master, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production line. Your primary responsibility will be the precise and accurate preparation of edge banding materials, ensuring consistent quality and minimizing waste. This is a hands-on position requiring a strong understanding of various edge banding materials, including PVC, melamine, ABS, and veneer. You will work closely with other team members, including machine operators and quality control personnel, to maintain a high level of productivity and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:
Accurately measure and cut edge banding materials according to specifications provided by production orders.
Inspect incoming edge banding materials for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
Properly store and organize edge banding materials to prevent damage and ensure efficient retrieval.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Operate and maintain edge banding material preparation machinery, including cutting machines, jointers, and sanding machines (training will be provided on specific equipment).
Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment malfunctions. Report major malfunctions to the maintenance team.
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
Collaborate with the production team to meet daily production targets.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and quality.
Maintain accurate records of material usage and inventory levels.
Assist in the training of new team members.

Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience in edge banding material preparation within a furniture manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to accurately measure, cut, and handle various edge banding materials.
Strong understanding of different edge banding materials and their properties (PVC, melamine, ABS, veneer).
Proficient in operating and maintaining edge banding material preparation machinery.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
Good communication skills (Cantonese and Mandarin are essential; English is a plus).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
