Responsibilities:

The Printing Master will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:
Overseeing the entire printing process: From pre-press preparation to final inspection, ensuring each step meets the highest quality standards. This includes managing color accuracy, ink consistency, and print registration.
Operating and maintaining advanced printing machinery: Our factory utilizes the latest in printing technology, and the successful candidate will be proficient in operating and maintaining these sophisticated machines, including troubleshooting and performing minor repairs.
Quality control: Performing rigorous quality checks at every stage of the printing process, identifying and addressing any defects or inconsistencies promptly. This includes visual inspection, measuring, and testing.
Color management: Maintaining accurate color reproduction throughout the printing process, ensuring consistency across different batches and orders. Experience with color profiling and color matching is essential.
Ink management: Managing ink supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels, and maintaining proper storage conditions to prevent spoilage and ensure consistent ink quality.
Process improvement: Identifying areas for improvement in the printing process and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall quality.
Training and supervision: Providing guidance and training to junior printing staff, ensuring they adhere to safety regulations and best practices.
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace: Adhering to strict safety and hygiene protocols within the printing department.
Collaborating with other departments: Working closely with production, quality control, and procurement teams to ensure seamless workflow and efficient production.
Meeting production deadlines: Effectively managing time and resources to ensure all printing orders are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in printing, preferably in the manufacturing or finishing industry. Experience with edge banding or similar materials is a significant advantage.
Proven track record of successfully managing and overseeing printing operations, from pre-press to post-press.
Deep understanding of various printing techniques, including but not limited to screen printing, pad printing, and digital printing. Familiarity with flexographic printing is highly desirable.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining a wide range of printing machinery, including pre-press equipment and finishing equipment.
Excellent color vision and a keen eye for detail.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot printing issues effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with colleagues from different departments.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
