Job Description: As an Extrusion Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the efficient and consistent production of high-quality edge banding. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Operating and monitoring extrusion machines, ensuring optimal performance and output.
Setting up and adjusting machinery parameters according to production specifications and quality standards.
Maintaining accurate records of production data, including material usage, output, and downtime.
Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on extrusion machines, identifying and resolving minor malfunctions.
Ensuring the consistent quality of the produced edge banding, conducting regular quality checks and adhering to strict quality control protocols.
Working collaboratively with other team members to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste.
Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting improvements to production processes.
Assisting with the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products.
Performing basic cleaning and maintenance tasks on the equipment.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in plastics processing or related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience operating extrusion machines in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the furniture industry.
Proficient understanding of extrusion principles and processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Familiarity with quality control procedures and documentation.
Experience with troubleshooting and performing minor repairs on extrusion equipment is a plus.
