About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for several positions within our ABS edge banding extrusion department. The specific responsibilities will vary depending on the level of experience and expertise, but all roles will contribute to the efficient and high-quality production of our edge banding products. Key responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
Operating and maintaining extrusion machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
Monitoring the extrusion process, identifying and resolving any quality issues promptly.
Maintaining accurate production records and reporting any discrepancies to management.
Adhering to strict quality control standards and ensuring all products meet our stringent specifications.
Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to prevent malfunctions and extend its lifespan.
Working collaboratively with other team members to achieve production targets and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Contributing to process improvements and identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and reduced waste.
Following all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Participating in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in extrusion techniques and quality control.
Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and performing minor repairs as needed.
Assisting with the setup and changeover of extrusion lines for different product specifications.
Understanding and applying relevant technical specifications and industry standards for ABS edge banding.
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
For senior roles, mentoring and training junior team members.
For managerial roles, overseeing the daily operations of the extrusion line, managing personnel, and ensuring production targets are met.

Qualifications and Skills:

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications and skills:
Proven experience in plastics extrusion, ideally with experience in ABS edge banding production.
A strong understanding of extrusion processes, including material handling, die design, and quality control.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining extrusion machinery.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a technical degree or certification in plastics technology is preferred.
Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and procedures.
Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles is beneficial.
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is essential; English language skills are beneficial.
