Responsibilities:

As a Material Preparation Master, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Accurate Measurement and Cutting: Precisely measuring and cutting edge banding rolls according to customer specifications and order requirements. This includes ensuring accurate length, width, and quantity. Experience with various cutting tools and techniques is essential. Familiarity with different edge banding materials (PVC, melamine, ABS) is a must.
Quality Control: Rigorous inspection of raw materials and finished products to ensure consistent quality and adherence to company standards. Identifying and reporting any defects or inconsistencies immediately to maintain high production standards. This includes checking for imperfections like scratches, discoloration, and inconsistencies in thickness.
Material Handling and Organization: Efficiently managing and organizing raw materials and finished products within the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and preventing damage. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
Machine Operation and Maintenance: Operating and maintaining various cutting and processing machinery, including (but not limited to) high-speed cutting machines, slitting machines, and other relevant equipment. Basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills are required. Knowledge of machinery safety procedures is crucial.
Production Planning and Optimization: Contributing to production planning by providing insights into material usage and efficiency. Suggesting improvements to processes and procedures to optimize production flow and reduce waste.
Teamwork and Communication: Collaborating effectively with team members, including other production line workers and supervisors, to ensure smooth and efficient operation. Communicating effectively with management regarding any issues or concerns.
Adherence to Safety Regulations: Strict adherence to all safety regulations and procedures within the factory environment. Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in edge banding material preparation or a related field within the furniture manufacturing industry.
Proven ability to accurately measure and cut materials to precise specifications.
Strong understanding of different types of edge banding materials (PVC, melamine, ABS) and their properties.
Experience operating and maintaining various cutting and processing machinery.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines.
Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese; English communication skills are a plus.
