About the Role: Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator

As our Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator, you will be the backbone of our material management system, overseeing all inbound and outbound logistics within our factory. This comprehensive role encompasses everything from receiving raw materials, managing inventory, to preparing finished goods for dispatch. You will be responsible for maintaining impeccable organization and accuracy across our warehouse facilities, utilizing modern inventory management systems, and ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with various internal departments, including production, sales, and purchasing, as well as external logistics partners. Your efforts will ensure that our production lines are continuously supplied with the necessary components and that our customers receive their orders promptly and without error.

Key Responsibilities:

Inbound Logistics and Receiving: Oversee the efficient and accurate receipt of all incoming raw materials, packaging supplies, and other goods. This includes verifying quantities against purchase orders, inspecting items for damage or discrepancies, and accurately documenting all deliveries. You will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers and freight forwarders to schedule deliveries and ensure smooth unloading processes.
Inventory Management and Control: Maintain precise inventory records using our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management System (WMS). This involves meticulous data entry, regular cycle counting, conducting periodic physical inventories, and reconciling any discrepancies. You will implement and uphold inventory control procedures such as FIFO (First-In, First-Out) to optimize stock rotation and minimize waste, particularly for time-sensitive or evolving product lines.
Storage and Organization: Strategically organize and store all materials within the warehouse to maximize space utilization, accessibility, and safety. This includes proper labeling of all shelves, bins, and pallets, ensuring clear pathways, and segregating different types of materials according to their storage requirements (e.g., temperature sensitivity, fragility).
Order Picking and Fulfillment: Efficiently pick and prepare finished goods orders according to sales orders, ensuring accuracy in product type, quantity, and packaging specifications. Outbound Logistics and Dispatch: Coordinate with shipping carriers and freight companies for timely dispatch of finished products. You will track shipments and resolve any logistics-related issues to ensure on-time delivery.
Production Support: Collaborate closely with the production department to ensure a steady supply of raw materials and components to the manufacturing lines. Warehouse Equipment Operation: Safely operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery.
