This is a physically demanding role requiring dexterity, stamina, and the ability to work efficiently and accurately for extended periods. Experience with a variety of edge banding materials, including PVC, melamine, ABS, and veneer, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

As an edge banding machine operator at our factory, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Operating various edge banding machines, including automatic and semi-automatic models.
Setting up and adjusting machines to meet specific specifications for different materials and thicknesses.
Maintaining consistent quality of edge banding, ensuring smooth, even finishes free of defects.
Inspecting finished products for any imperfections and taking corrective action as needed.
Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshooting minor machine malfunctions and reporting more significant issues to supervisors.
Accurately measuring and cutting edge banding material.
Working efficiently to meet production quotas while maintaining high standards of quality.
Adhering to all safety regulations and using proper safety equipment at all times.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Collaborating with other team members to achieve production goals.
Following instructions and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an edge banding machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in operating various types of edge banding machinery, including automatic and semi-automatic models.
Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and materials.
Experience with a variety of edge banding materials (PVC, melamine, ABS, veneer, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
Ability to work overtime as needed to meet production demands.
